Blossoming Hope.... In shadows deep, where darkness weaves its tale, A flicker emerges, a whisper, a frail sail. Hope, a luminescent bloom in the night, A beacon that guides with its soft, steadfast light. In the garden of dreams, where doubts may entwine, Hope sprouts like wildflowers, resilient, divine. Petals unfurl with a promise untold, A story of strength, a future to behold. Through tempests that rage, hope stands as a shield, A fortress of solace, a force unrevealed. In the echoes of sorrow, its melody plays, A song of endurance through life's shifting maze. Ephemeral, yet potent, as morning's first ray, Hope dances with dawn, chasing shadows away. Each heartbeat, a rhythm, a testament clear, That in hope's tender embrace, there's nothing to fear.  A phoenix ascending from ashes of plight, Hope paints the horizon in hues pure and bright. With wings of resilience, it soars to the sky, A symbol of courage, refusing to die.  In the tapestry woven with threads of de...

Intelligent Transportation System- The New Living Innovation!

Intelligent Transportation System

Intelligent Transportation System

Intelligent transportation system (ITS) is a complex application that strives to deliver novel services related to various modes of transportation and traffic management, allowing users to be better informed and make safer, more coordinated, and 'smarter' use of transportation networks.

Some of these technologies include emergency call-outs in the event of an accident, the use of cameras to police traffic regulations, and signs that indicate speed limit changes based on conditions.

What Are the Intelligent Transportation Technologies?

The technologies used in intelligent transportation systems range from basic management systems like car navigation, traffic signal control, container management, variable message signs, automatic number plate recognition, or speed cameras, to monitoring applications like security CCTV systems, automatic incident detection, or stopped vehicle detection systems, to more advanced applications that integrate live data and feedback from a variety of other sources. Predictive approaches are also being developed to enable sophisticated modelling and comparisons with previous data. The following sections go through some of these technologies.

Intelligent Transportation System

Wireless communications technology in many kinds has been proposed for intelligent transportation systems. Within ITS, radio modem transmission on UHF and VHF frequencies is commonly used for short and long-distance communication.

IEEE 802.11 protocols, notably WAVE or the dedicated short-range communications (DSRC) standard established by the Intelligent Transportation Society of America and the United States Department of Transportation, can be used for short-range communications of 350 metres. The range of these protocols can theoretically be expanded by deploying mobile ad hoc networks or mesh networking.
Infrastructure networks, such as 5G, are used for longer-range communications. These intelligent transportation technologies are well-established for long-range communications, but unlike short-range protocols, they need considerable and expensive infrastructure development.
